Famous for over 100 years this is what Onetangi Beach Races is all about. Horses have been competing on these very shores since our grandparents day, buts  it’s not just  the horses that we can win on as modern day has seen the introduction of tractor and the very popular Sealegs races.

Race Packs cost $25 and contains tickets for all tote races, over $200. worth of fabulous vouchers.>, the days programme, other information and a chance to win a $1000. These can be bought on the day at the tote tent.

The Beach Races is run on a Equalisator Betting system. Immediately prior to start of each race a draw is made to determine the riders number. The ticket number equate with a rider number. Dividends are paid to 1st place winners only. Final payouts for the day will be 30 minutes after the lat race has finished. Tote closure will be signalled by flashing lights on the race truck and a loudspeaker announcement.
